Terlano Sauvignon Winkl is a refined Alto Adige Sauvignon Blanc that showcases the pure, mineral-driven character of Terlano’s high-altitude vineyards. Produced by Cantina Terlano, one of the region’s most respected cooperative wineries, it combines bright aromatic intensity with elegance and precision, reflecting the long-standing winemaking tradition of Trentino-Alto Adige.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense straw-yellow color with a brilliant sheen. The bouquet is expressive and layered, offering apricot, mandarin, passion fruit, elderflower, nettle, and a fresh hint of mint. On the palate, it is lively and finely balanced, with delicate acidity and a distinctly mineral, aromatic finish. The wine’s structure gives it good freshness and immediate appeal, while its clarity and tension suggest it will hold well in the short to medium term.

Production
This Sauvignon Blanc comes from Terlano in Alto Adige, an area known for its mineral-rich soils, cool mountain climate, and excellent diurnal temperature shifts, all of which help preserve freshness and aromatic definition. The grapes are carefully harvested to retain purity and balance, and vinification is carried out to emphasize the variety’s expressive fruit and the terroir’s signature minerality.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for fish, goat cheese, and vegetarian dishes, especially preparations with herbs, citrus, or spring vegetables. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to best highlight its aromatic profile and bright acidity; decanting is generally not necessary.
