Terlano Cuvee Terlaner 2025

Terlano Cuvee Terlaner is a beautifully balanced white wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, crafted by Cantina Terlano, one of Alto Adige’s most respected and forward-thinking cooperatives. Made from Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, it combines freshness, texture, and regional character in a style that has made Terlano a benchmark name in northern Italian white wine.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, pale straw-yellow colour with a clean, luminous sheen. The bouquet opens with notes of ripe peach and apple, lifted by citrus, herbs, and a subtle mineral edge that reflects the Alpine character of the region. The palate is juicy and focused, with lively freshness, a fine balance of fruit and alcohol, and a pleasant saline note that adds length and precision. It finishes with good persistence, and while it is highly enjoyable young, it has the structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from the cool, well-exposed vineyards of Trentino-Alto Adige, where mountain influences, warm days, and refreshing night-time temperatures help preserve acidity and aromatic purity. The wine is produced from a blend of 60% Pinot Bianco, 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Sauvignon Blanc, then matured in stainless steel and large oak casks to retain freshness while adding subtle depth and complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent partner for grilled or baked fish, shellfish, light poultry dishes, risotto, and vegetable-based cuisine, especially recipes with herbs or a delicate creamy sauce. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C; decanting is not necessary, though a few minutes in the glass will help the aromas open beautifully.
