Description

Taittinger Brut Prestige is one of Champagne’s most elegant non-vintage blends, celebrated for its light, refined style and consistently bright personality. Built around a high proportion of Chardonnay, it offers freshness, finesse, and a graceful balance that has made Taittinger a benchmark house in Champagne for generations.

Tasting Notes
Pale gold in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, this Champagne opens with aromas of white flowers, fresh citrus, green apple, and subtle brioche. On the palate it is crisp and lively, with layers of lemon zest, pear, stone fruit, and delicate pastry notes, finishing with a clean mineral edge and impressive precision. Its structure is supple yet vibrant, making it immediately appealing while still offering enough complexity to reward a little time in bottle. Best enjoyed young for its freshness and tension, though it will hold beautifully over the short to medium term.

Production
Taittinger Brut Prestige is sourced from vineyards across the Champagne region, with Chardonnay providing the wine’s signature elegance and freshness, supported by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier for depth and roundness. The blend reflects the cool climate and chalky soils of Champagne, which are ideal for preserving acidity and finesse. Vinification follows the house’s traditional approach for non-vintage Champagne, with careful blending to maintain the consistent style and quality Taittinger is known for.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile Champagne for aperitif service as well as the table. It pairs particularly well with oysters, sashimi, seafood, roast chicken, creamy cheeses, and light canapés. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended.

Producer
Founded in 1734, Taittinger is one of Champagne’s most respected family houses and is closely associated with a Chardonnay-driven style that emphasizes elegance and purity. Based in Reims, the house has built a strong reputation for quality across its range, with Brut Prestige standing as one of its most recognized and widely appreciated cuvées.
