Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, inviting color that hints at the wine’s ripe fruit and concentration. The nose is expressive and layered, with dark cherries, cassis, violets, orange peel, black olives, and leather adding both freshness and depth. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly fruited, with dark and red berry flavors wrapped in a smooth, well-balanced texture. The oak influence adds structure and nuance without overpowering the fruit, giving the wine a classic Merlot profile with real depth. It already drinks beautifully now, but it also has excellent aging potential.

Production
The grapes are hand-harvested, with the bunches carefully sorted first in the vineyard and then again at the winery to ensure only the best fruit is used. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, preserving freshness and purity, followed by 12 months of aging in French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels. The wine then rests for a further 6 months in bottle before release, allowing the components to integrate and soften.

Food & Serving
This Merlot pairs well with roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, grilled pork, mushroom dishes, and richer Mediterranean cuisine. Serve it at around 16–18°C for the best expression of its fruit and structure. Decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended if opened young, especially if you want to bring out more aromatics and soften the oak.
