Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear ruby-red color. The nose is layered and expressive, offering ripe strawberries, cherries, wild herbs, black pepper, floral notes, a hint of smoky oak, and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is rich yet refined, with a silky texture, balanced tannins, and vibrant acidity that keeps the wine fresh and lifted. Fruit sweetness, spice, and savory nuances unfold in waves before a long, elegant finish. While already impressive now, it should continue to develop beautifully over time, gaining further complexity and nuance with age.

Production
The fruit comes from carefully selected vineyards including Eleven Confessions and Alta Mesa in California, sites known for their intensity and low yields. Extreme sorting and meticulous vineyard work help ensure concentration and purity, while the final blend is assembled to highlight both the natural richness of Grenache and the added structure and complexity from small supporting varieties. The result is a wine that reflects both terroir and highly attentive winemaking.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile wine for rich, flavorful dishes such as roast duck, lamb, grilled game meats, braised short ribs, or mushroom-based cuisine. It also pairs well with aged hard cheeses and Mediterranean-inspired dishes with herbs and olive oil. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the wine’s aromatics and texture to open fully.
