Tasting Notes
In the glass, this is a deep, dense, intensely perfumed red with remarkable concentration. The nose opens with dark berries, liquorice, herbs, dried meat, and lifted floral notes of violet and lavender, creating a layered and expressive aromatic profile. The palate is rich and powerful, yet carried by silky tannins and impressive finesse. Grenache leads the blend, supported by Syrah and smaller amounts of other varieties, giving the wine both structure and aromatic complexity. The finish is long and persistent, with enough vitality to continue developing beautifully over time, though it is drinking very well now.

Production
This wine is sourced from select California vineyards, including the renowned Eleven Confessions Vineyard, where the warm climate and distinctive site character help produce grapes with exceptional ripeness and concentration. The blend is primarily Grenache, with smaller portions of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and a touch of Viognier, vinified in the distinctive Sine Qua Non style to emphasize intensity, texture, and depth.

Food & Serving
Best served with richly flavored dishes such as lamb, slow-roasted beef, game, or braised short ribs, as well as earthy mushroom-based preparations. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours to allow the wine’s aromatic complexity and layered structure to fully open.
