Tasting Notes
In the glass, Tiara shows a deep, dense red color that hints at its concentration and structure. The nose opens with explosive aromas of dark berry fruit, blackberry, and black cherry, lifted by warm sweet spices that add polish and complexity. On the palate, the wine is rich and layered, with ripe dark fruit at the core and a firm, finely tuned structure that gives the blend shape and length. Its generous 14.5% alcohol is well integrated, and the wine should continue to develop nicely over the next several years, gaining additional savory and tertiary notes with age.

Production
Produced in Stellenbosch, one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine regions, Tiara benefits from a terroir well suited to Bordeaux-style blending, with warm days, cooling influences, and a long ripening season that help build both ripeness and freshness. The grapes are typically harvested at optimal maturity and vinified separately before blending, allowing each variety to contribute its own character to the final wine.

Food & Serving
This is a versatile red for hearty dishes such as grilled lamb, beef roast, venison, or rich mushroom-based plates. It is best served at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended to allow the aromatics to open and the structure to soften.
