Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the classic clarity and brightness expected of top-tier Riesling, with a pale, luminous color. The nose opens with ripe apple, citrus peel, and a distinct mineral note that reflects the Halenberg site, followed by subtle layers of stone fruit and herbs. On the palate, the wine is juicy and fresh, with a lively acidity that gives structure and energy to the concentrated fruit. The finish is long and precise, with saline-mineral tension and excellent balance. With its depth and strong acidity, it has very good aging potential and should develop added complexity over time.

Production
Halenberg is a steep, highly regarded vineyard in the Nahe, known for its rocky soils and excellent drainage, which help produce wines of tension, finesse, and mineral definition. The grapes for this GG were harvested from the best parcels of the vintage and vinified with a focus on purity and site expression, allowing the character of the vineyard to come through clearly.

Food & Serving
This Riesling pairs beautifully with fish dishes, poultry, shellfish, and light salads, especially when prepared with delicate herbs or citrus accents. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can be beneficial if the wine is served very young.
