Tasting Notes

The nose opens with autumn leaves, nutmeg, licorice, bark, and red berries, before developing a richer fruit core that adds warmth and complexity to the bouquet. On the palate, it is well balanced and highly expressive, with layered fruit, firm structure, and a lively, spicy finish. While already engaging in its youth, it has the concentration and backbone to age gracefully for many years, gaining further nuance and tertiary complexity over time.

Sourced from the Barolo area in Piedmont, this wine reflects the unique terroir of one of the most historic zones in the region, where Nebbiolo thrives on soils and exposures that favor fragrance, structure, and longevity. The grapes are vinified in a traditional style and the wine is matured in wooden casks for 24 months, helping to build texture and complexity while preserving the grape’s distinctive character.
