Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, intense purple-red color that immediately signals concentration and ripeness. The nose is generous and layered, with aromas of spice, dark berries, and cherry jam, giving it an inviting and distinctly southern Italian profile. On the palate, it is full-bodied, soft, and harmonious, with plenty of ripe fruit balanced by fine tannins. The finish is pleasant and persistent, making it an enjoyable wine now, while also suggesting it can hold its appeal over the next few years.

Production
Made from 100% Negroamaro sourced in Salento, Apulia, this wine comes from a warm Mediterranean terroir that naturally encourages ripe fruit and generous structure. Harvesting is carried out with care to preserve freshness and varietal character, and the vinification is aimed at drawing out the grape’s natural richness while maintaining balance, smoothness, and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled meats, roasted lamb, tomato-based pasta dishes, mature cheeses, and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. Serve it at around 16-18°C, and consider brief decanting if opened young to help the aromas open up and the texture soften.
