Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby color with purple highlights, hinting at its youthful energy. The nose is finely pitched and savory, with aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, violets, cracked pepper, smoked meats, and a subtle granite-driven stony edge. On the palate, this is a medium-bodied Syrah with a firm but polished tannic frame, bright acidity, and a cool-climate freshness that keeps the fruit lively. Expect dark berry fruit, spice, licorice, and earthy undertones, finishing with a persistent mineral note. While approachable in youth, it should reward a few years of cellaring and can develop greater complexity over 5–10 years.
