Description

Ruggeri Giall'Oro is a Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG made entirely from Glera, offering a polished take on one of Veneto’s best-known sparkling wines. Its Extra Dry style balances lively fruit and freshness with a gently rounded finish.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The nose is inviting, with aromas of apple, pear and white flowers.

Production
Made from Glera grown in the hilly Valdobbiadene area, where the region’s slopes and varied exposures are well suited to fresh, aromatic sparkling wines. The wine is produced using the Charmat method, with its secondary fermentation in tank helping preserve the grape’s fruit and floral character. As a non-vintage wine, it is blended for a consistent house style; it is best enjoyed young while its freshness is at its brightest.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 6–8°C. Its lively bubbles and lightly rounded Extra Dry style work well as an aperitif and alongside seafood, light antipasti, fresh cheeses or delicate vegetable dishes. Decanting is not recommended.

Founded in Valdobbiadene in 1950, Ruggeri has built its reputation around sparkling wines from the Prosecco Superiore area. The winery is closely associated with the region’s hillside vineyards and has helped establish Valdobbiadene as a leading source of premium Prosecco.
