Ruffino Alauda 2022 is a modern expression of Tuscany, crafted only in exceptional vintages and built to showcase the character of its unique terroir. Tasting Notes
Alauda typically shows a deep, concentrated ruby color in the glass. The nose is layered and refined, with ripe dark berries, subtle spice, dried herbs, and floral nuances, while the palate combines the roundness of Merlot, the structure of Cabernet Franc, and the earthy, savory imprint of Colorino. The result is a wine with both polish and personality: rich yet balanced, with fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, persistent finish. Thanks to its complexity and structure, it has good aging potential and should develop beautifully over time.

Production
Alauda is made from three grape varieties sourced from three different crus, each contributing a distinct facet to the final blend. The wine is shaped by the unique Tuscan terroir, where soil, climate, and vineyard exposure help define its personality. Produced only in outstanding vintages, it is vinified to preserve the aromatic precision of the international varieties while honoring the traditional Tuscan character brought by Colorino.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled red meats, braised lamb, game, and rich Tuscan dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar ragù. It also works well with mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended to allow the wine to खुलen and reveal its full aromatic range.
