Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright pale-yellow color. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of caramelized pineapple, lemon zest, baked green apple, toast, and vanilla. The palate is concentrated and silky, offering ripe stone fruit, floral honey, and creamy vanilla, balanced by a refreshing, mouthwatering acidity that carries the wine into a long, lingering finish. It is delicious now, but it also has the structure to age gracefully for a few years in the cellar.

Production
This reserve Chardonnay comes from Carneros, where the cool maritime climate and clay-rich soils provide ideal conditions for producing wines with both ripeness and freshness. The Proprietor Selection is crafted only in top years by blending the best barrels from the finest parcels, then matured for 9 months in French and American oak, with 45% new wood, to build texture, complexity, and depth.

This Chardonnay is a natural match for roast chicken, lobster, creamy pasta, seared scallops, and rich seafood dishes, as well as dishes with butter, citrus, or toasted nut elements. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short aeration can help open up its aromas in its youth.
