Description

Roku is a Japanese gin from Suntory, shaped by the flavours of the country’s four seasons. Its six distinctive Japanese botanicals bring together delicate floral and citrus notes, gentle sweetness and a subtle touch of spice.

Aroma & Palate
The aroma is fresh and fragrant, with bright yuzu citrus and soft floral notes. On the palate, citrus and flowers give way to the mild sweetness of green tea, balanced by delicate spice. The finish is clean and gently warming.

Distillation & Maturation
Roku combines six Japanese botanicals—chosen to reflect the seasons—with traditional gin botanicals. The Japanese ingredients include sakura flower and leaf, sencha and gyokuro teas, sansho pepper and yuzu. Each is distilled separately to capture its character before the distillates are blended.

Serving Suggestions
Enjoy Roku neat or over ice to explore its layered botanicals, or serve it with tonic and a twist of yuzu or lemon. It also works beautifully in a classic Gin & Tonic or a Martini; a chilled glass helps keep its delicate aromas in focus.

Distillery
Roku is made by Suntory, the Japanese drinks company founded by Shinjiro Torii in 1899. Its name means “six” in Japanese, a reference to the six seasonal botanicals at the heart of the gin.
