Tasting Notes
Pale straw-yellow in appearance, the wine opens with inviting aromas of ripe peach, green apple, citrus blossom and subtle mineral notes. On the palate, it is light, graceful and refreshing, with flavours of white peach, lime and crisp pear balanced by lively acidity. The finish is clean and gently sweet, making it both approachable in its youth and capable of developing added honeyed and petrol-like complexity over the next several years when properly stored.

Production
The wine reflects the cool, river-influenced climate and varied soils of the Rheingau, where Riesling benefits from a long growing season that preserves freshness while allowing ripe fruit flavours to develop. Grapes for Kabinett wines are harvested at a relatively light level of ripeness and carefully selected to retain their delicate, vibrant style. Fermentation is handled with the aim of preserving the variety’s aromatic purity and natural acidity, resulting in a balanced wine with an elegant touch of residual sweetness.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its combination of freshness and gentle sweetness makes it an excellent match for spicy Asian cuisine, sushi, seafood, lightly smoked fish, poultry and fresh goat’s cheese. It can be enjoyed immediately, while decanting is generally unnecessary; a brief period in the glass allows its floral and mineral aromas to open.
