Description

Biancavigna’s Rive di Collalto Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry is a lively, elegant sparkling wine made entirely from Glera grown in one of the distinctive Rive crus of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. The Collalto hillside and its iron-rich soils give this DOCG Prosecco a clear sense of place, while a long second fermentation brings finesse and a softly creamy texture.

Tasting Notes
Fine, persistent bubbles rise through a pale, bright wine. The nose offers honeyed apple and pear, yellow-fruited notes and delicate white flowers, with hawthorn especially prominent.

Production
On the palate, fresh fruit and lively acidity are balanced by a smooth, creamy texture and a satisfying finish. It is best enjoyed young to appreciate its freshness and aromatic detail.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 6–8°C, as an aperitif or alongside raw fish, seafood and fresh cheeses. Its fine mousse and bright character also make it a natural choice for elegant celebrations. Decanting is not recommended.

Producer
Founded in 2004, Biancavigna focuses on expressing the character of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene area. This bottling comes from Rive di Collalto, a south-facing hillside between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, where vines grow at around 180 metres on clay and limestone soils with notable iron content. Morning temperature shifts help preserve acidity and encourage aromatic development. The Glera grapes undergo a second fermentation in pressurised tanks at controlled temperature, lasting around 90 days with selected native yeast strains. Cold stabilisation and a total resting period of five months help preserve the wine’s clarity and aromatic harmony.
