Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the deep, vibrant ruby color typical of a serious young Sangiovese. The bouquet is refined and expressive, with notes of red cherry, wild berries, violet, dried herbs, and subtle spice, supported by elegant oak nuances from élevage in tonneaux. On the palate, it is structured yet polished, with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a fresh core of red fruit layered with savory, earthy complexity. The finish is long and graceful, suggesting excellent aging potential over the next 8–15 years, where it should gain further depth and harmony.

Production
The Roncicone vineyard sits at around 320 meters above sea level in Gaiole in Chianti, a site that benefits from the elevated Tuscan terroir and the characterful conditions of Chianti Classico. The grapes are destemmed and vinified in stainless steel to preserve purity and fruit expression, then matured for 22 months in 500-liter tonneaux, adding structure and complexity without overwhelming the varietal character.

This wine is an excellent match for Tuscan cuisine, including bistecca alla fiorentina, roasted lamb, game, mushroom risotto, and aged Pecorino. Serve at 16–18°C and decant for about 1–2 hours if possible to let the wine fully раскры its aromas and texture.
