Description

Regnard Pommard 2023 is a Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s best-known appellations, combining expressive fruit with the fine, structured tannins associated with Pommard. It comes from Maison Regnard, founded in 1860 and revived under the De Ladoucette family, whose work has helped preserve the estate’s historic Burgundy heritage.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows an intense ruby-red colour with violet hues. Its aromatic nose is rich in fruit, with subtle smoky notes from barrel maturation.

Production
Made from Pinot Noir in Pommard, at the heart of Burgundy, this wine is crafted to preserve the grape’s fruit character. It is matured in barrels, which contribute a discreet smoky note while helping the wine’s structure settle. Specific vineyard details and harvesting methods are not provided.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C and decant for around one hour to allow the aromas to open. Its juicy fruit and fine, ripe tannins pair well with red meat, game and flavourful cheeses.
