Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red color with ruby highlights, hinting at the concentration within. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of very ripe berries and cherry fruit lifted by floral nuances and a refined spicy edge. On the palate, it is powerful yet balanced, with soft, generous tannins and a long, persistent finish. The wine’s structure and concentration suggest excellent aging potential, allowing its complexity to unfold further over time.

Production
This Barolo comes from the Bussia cru in Piedmont, a site known for its elevated exposures, excellent drainage, and limestone-rich soils that help Nebbiolo achieve both aromatic precision and firm structure. The grapes are typically harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, with careful vinification designed to preserve the character of the vineyard while building depth and elegance in the finished wine.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed with rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, game, truffle risotto, or aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if opening now, especially to soften the tannins and allow the aromas to fully open.
