Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a refined, classical Barbaresco profile with lifted aromas of wild berries, sour cherry, and blue flowers, all framed by a distinctive note of crushed chalk and flint. On the palate, the wine is finely structured and beautifully focused, with fine-grained tannins, excellent length, and a vivid interplay between fruit purity and mineral tension. The 2021 Rabajà Riserva has the concentration and balance to age gracefully for many years, with the structure to develop additional complexity over time. Production
Rabajà comes from 3.7 hectares of vines planted on calcareous clay soils, a terroir that helps shape the wine’s mineral backbone and firm, elegant structure. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and then matured in large oak casks (botti), a traditional approach that preserves freshness, aromatic clarity, and site expression while supporting a slow, even evolution.

Food & Serving
This is a natural match for rich Piedmontese dishes such as brasato al Barolo, truffle risotto, roast game, and aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for one to two hours if drinking young, to help the aromatics open and the tannins soften.
