Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale, luminous colour with a fresh, youthful sheen. The nose opens with white peach, green apple, lemon balm, and a subtle wet-stone minerality, giving it both lift and definition. The palate is feather-light yet focused, balancing delicate residual sweetness with vivid, almost electric acidity. Silky in texture and pure in fruit expression, it finishes long, vibrant, and impressively precise. While already highly enjoyable, it also has the structure to age gracefully for several years, developing greater depth and complexity over time.

Production
The grapes come from steep, south-east-facing slopes in Wallhausen, where slate and quartz soils help shape the wine’s tense mineral character and aromatic finesse. Careful selective harvesting preserves freshness and ensures optimal balance in the fruit. Fermentation takes place spontaneously, followed by ageing in stainless steel to retain clarity, precision, and the wine’s naturally vivid fruit profile. The result is a Kabinett that feels transparent to its terroir, with sweetness and acidity in seamless harmony.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for spicy Asian dishes, fresh seafood, sushi, light poultry, or salty cheeses that highlight its balance of sweetness and acidity. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
