Prieuré-Lichine is situated in the Margaux appellation on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, where gravelly soils and a temperate Atlantic-influenced climate support Cabernet Sauvignon-led wines of finesse and aromatic precision. The estate’s vineyards benefit from excellent drainage and varied gravel and clay-limestone parcels, which contribute to the wine’s balance and aromatic lift. Harvesting is typically carried out parcel by parcel at optimal ripeness, followed by careful vinification in temperature-controlled vats and maturation in French oak barrels to preserve fruit purity while adding structure and complexity.
