Poli Elisir Prugna is a sweet plum liqueur from Veneto, Italy, with a history rooted in Poli’s early liqueur-making. Made from an infusion of pure plum juice, it offers a fruit-forward alternative to the dry plum spirit that inspired its name.

Aroma & Palate
Expect the ripe, juicy character of plum, with sweetness at the fore. The fruit-led profile makes this an approachable liqueur to enjoy on its own or alongside dessert.

Distillation & Maturation
Elisir Prugna is made by infusing pure plum juice. It followed Poli’s earlier dry liqueur, which was based on plum distillate; the product was renamed after the term “Sliwovitz” became associated exclusively with plum distillates from Eastern Europe in 1938.

Serving Suggestions
Serve neat, lightly chilled, or over ice. Its sweet plum character also pairs well with fruit desserts and can add a fruity note to simple cocktails.

Distillery
Poli Distilleries, based in Veneto, has produced liqueurs since the early days of the business. A 1930 company letterhead listed “Fabbrica liquori” (liqueur factory) before “Distilleria Acquavite,” reflecting the importance of liqueur production to the distillery.
