Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a beautiful golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is layered and expressive, opening on ripe orchard fruit and citrus before unfolding into brioche, subtle toast, and lightly roasted notes from extended ageing. The palate is rich and full-bodied, yet beautifully balanced by bright acidity and a refined mineral edge. Ripe fruit, creamy texture, and a long, elegant finish give the wine impressive depth and harmony. Thanks to its magnum format and mature vintage character, it has excellent ageing potential and can continue to evolve gracefully over time.

Production
The grapes come from some of Champagne’s finest sites, particularly in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, where chalky soils and a cool climate help preserve freshness while building complexity. Harvesting is done carefully to select fruit of outstanding ripeness and balance, followed by traditional vinification and long maturation in Pol Roger’s historic cellars, allowing the wine to develop the layered complexity that defines this cuvée.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 8–10°C to preserve the wine’s freshness and aromatic precision. It works beautifully as an aperitif, but also pairs well with shellfish, grilled fish, poultry, and mature cheeses. Decanting is generally not recommended for Champagne, though opening it a little before serving can help the wine show its full aromatics.
