Planeta Etna Bianco Contrada Taccione is an organic Carricante from the high, volcanic slopes of Etna, offering a distinctive expression of Sicily’s mountain vineyards. Tasting Notes
The nose brings together yellow peach, broom blossom and aromatic herbs, with a distinctive hint of wet stone. On the palate, ripe fruit and savoury depth are balanced by bright freshness; rosemary and saline mineral notes linger on the finish. Production
The organically farmed vineyards lie at high altitude in Montelaguardia, near Castiglione di Sicilia, where deep, dark volcanic sands and marked day-to-night temperature shifts encourage slow, even ripening. Grapes are hand-harvested, chilled and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and oak, followed by maturation on fine lees with regular bâtonnage to build texture while preserving freshness and fruit.

Food & Serving
Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C, with raw shellfish, seafood crudo or pasta filata cheeses. Its freshness and saline, mineral character also suit simply prepared fish. Decanting is not usually necessary; open shortly before serving to let the aromas emerge.
