Description

Piper-Heidsieck Brut Rosé is a lively, medium- to full-bodied Champagne that pairs a delicate pink hue with bright red-fruit character and a refreshing mousse. Presented in a gift box, it makes an appealing choice for celebrations and offers a rosé expression from one of Champagne’s historic houses, founded in 1785.

Tasting Notes
Delicate pink in the glass, it opens with aromas of pastry cream, white strawberries and fresh cranberries. On the palate, white grapefruit and light spice bring freshness and lift, while a peppery note and fine, lively mousse add texture. Enjoy it over the next few years to appreciate its fresh fruit and vibrant character.

Production
This non-vintage blend is based on the 2021 harvest and combines Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with the blend comprising 45% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier and the balance Chardonnay. Around 18% red wine contributes to its rosé colour and red-fruit profile. Further details about the vineyards, harvest methods and vinification are not specified.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, with salmon, prawns, roast chicken or soft, creamy cheeses. Its bright acidity also works nicely with berry-based desserts. Decanting is not usually necessary; open shortly before serving to preserve its fresh aromas and lively bubbles.
