Description

Pineau des Charentes Coteaux de Saintonge Blanc is a refined French fortified wine made in the Charentes region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Crafted from Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard, it combines fresh white-fruit character with the gentle warmth and depth of Cognac eau-de-vie.

Aroma & Palate
The nose is typically bright and aromatic, with notes of white flowers, ripe pear, green apple and citrus, complemented by a subtle honeyed sweetness. On the palate, it offers a smooth, rounded texture with fresh fruit, delicate spice and balanced acidity, followed by a clean, gently warming finish.

Distillation & Maturation
White Pineau des Charentes is traditionally made by blending unfermented grape must with Cognac eau-de-vie, allowing the spirit to preserve the grapes’ natural sweetness while adding structure and warmth.
