Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine is typically deep ruby with a dark, polished core that hints at its concentration. The nose often leans toward blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, cigar box, and subtle floral and spice notes, all wrapped in the refined oak signature expected from a great Pauillac. On the palate, it is firm, layered, and tightly coiled, with ripe dark fruit, fresh acidity, and finely knit tannins that give the wine drive and length.
