Patrick Miolane’s 2023 Saint-Aubin Rouge 1er Cru Les Perrières is a still Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s celebrated appellations, distinguished by its Premier Cru vineyard designation. It brings together the elegance of red-fruited Burgundy with the mineral character of its Saint-Aubin origins.

Tasting Notes
Deep red in colour, it opens with a complex bouquet of red-fruit aromas. The palate is elegant, subtle and light on its feet, with lively tension and a lingering mineral finish. Its structure and balance suggest potential to develop with careful cellaring, though the available information does not specify a drinking window.

Production
The south-facing vines grow in clay and limestone soils, which contribute to the wine’s freshness and mineral character.
