Description

Pascal Doquet Blanc de Blancs Horizon Extra Brut is a non-vintage Champagne made entirely from Chardonnay, offering a crisp, dry expression of the region’s signature white grape. Its Extra Brut style keeps the dosage restrained, while the Blanc de Blancs designation places Chardonnay at the heart of the wine.

Tasting Notes
Expect a pale straw colour and a fine, persistent bead. The nose may show notes of citrus, green apple and white flowers, with the freshness and chalky impression often associated with Chardonnay-based Champagne.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, around 8–10°C, with oysters, seafood, sushi or fresh goat’s cheese. Its clean, dry profile also works well as an aperitif. Decanting is generally unnecessary; pour gently into a Champagne glass or tulip-shaped glass to let the aromas develop.

Pascal started his independent Champagne making in 2004, making Pascal Doquet a fairly "young" growers Champagne venture. This is truly a hands on Champagne, with less than 9ha of vines, this vigneron is a rising star and must try for anyone into growers Champagne. This cuvée is clean and creamy, a terroir driven star of the Côte des Blancs.
