Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in colour, with a polished and expressive bouquet of dark berries, black cherry, cassis, graphite, cedar, and subtle smoky notes. With time in the glass, hints of violets, cocoa, tobacco, and warm spice emerge, adding complexity and lift. On the palate, it is concentrated yet beautifully balanced, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and layered flavours of black fruit, savoury oak, and mineral nuance. The finish is long and structured, suggesting excellent ageing potential over the next 10–20 years, where it will gain further finesse and tertiary depth.

Production
Produced in Pessac-Léognan, where gravel-rich soils provide excellent drainage and help shape the wine’s signature freshness, power, and minerality. The grapes are typically harvested by hand to preserve quality and precision, then vinified with careful parcel selection and traditional Bordeaux methods, followed by ageing in oak to build structure and complexity.

Food & Serving
An excellent partner for roast lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, game, or dishes with earthy elements such as mushrooms and truffle. Serve at 16–18°C and decant for at least 1–2 hours if opening young, to allow the wine to fully open and soften its tannins.
