Château Palmer is located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, where gravel-rich soils and the tempering influence of the nearby Gironde help create wines of aromatic purity and elegance. Food & Serving
This wine is an excellent match for lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, venison, or mushroom-based dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C. Decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if drinking young, though older bottles may only need a gentle aeration.
