Tasting Notes
In the glass, the 2017 vintage typically shows a deep ruby colour with youthful purple highlights. The nose is layered and refined, with notes of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, graphite and a touch of spice, often accompanied by subtle floral and tobacco nuances. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a well-defined core of dark fruit. The style is balanced and poised rather than overly powerful, offering good length and the potential to evolve gracefully over the next several years. While enjoyable now, it should gain additional complexity with bottle age.
