Tasting Notes
In the glass, Orma 2020 shows an intense ruby color with a dense, concentrated core. The nose is layered and inviting, with dark berries, cassis, ripe plum, violet, cedar, and hints of spice, cocoa, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied and supple, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a beautifully balanced framework. The fruit is rich but never heavy, leading into a long, refined finish with notes of black cherry, graphite, and toasted oak. This is a wine with strong aging potential, and it should continue to develop complexity over the next 8-15 years.
