Oltrenero Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico Pinot Nero Brut Nature is a refined Italian sparkling wine made entirely from Pinot Noir in the heart of Lombardy’s Oltrepò Pavese. Crafted with a clear focus on quality and expression, it combines elegance, depth, and a distinctive Brut Nature style that lets the character of the grape and region shine through.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a fine, persistent mousse and a bright, elegant hue typical of classic-method sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir. The bouquet is rich and layered, with notes of bread crust, rose, acacia, red currant, raspberry, citrus, and a delicate hint of sweet pastry. On the palate, it is generous and complex, with a lively saline edge and a refreshing citrus-driven freshness that keeps the wine feeling precise and lifted. The finish is subtly almondy and lightly toasted, giving it an enveloping, satisfying close. It is enjoyable now for its freshness and complexity, but has the structure to develop further in bottle over the next few years.

This wine comes from Tenuta Il Bosco in Lombardy, in the historic Oltrepò Pavese area, a region long associated with excellent Pinot Noir and traditional method sparkling wines. The estate, founded in 1987, selects only the finest Pinot Noir grapes and vinifies them with care to preserve purity, finesse, and regional identity.

Food & Serving
A great match for oysters, grilled seafood, sushi, risotto, tempura, or refined charcuterie, as well as creamy cheeses and light white meats. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open just before serving to preserve the wine’s delicate mousse and freshness.
