Oasi degli Angeli Kupra 2017 is a distinctive, small-production red from Marche, made from the uncommon local grape known as Bordò. Its rarity and the estate’s focus on expressive, concentrated wines make it an intriguing choice for drinkers looking beyond the region’s better-known varietals.

Tasting Notes
Expect a deep ruby to garnet colour, with aromas of ripe dark berries, plum and spice, potentially developing earthy and savoury notes with time in bottle. The palate is typically full and concentrated, with ample structure and a long finish. The 2017 vintage can be enjoyed now after some air, or cellared further for the flavours to evolve.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C. It should pair well with slow-cooked beef, roast lamb, game or aged cheeses. Pour into a decanter about an hour before serving to let the wine open up.

Oasi degli Angeli is a boutique estate in the Marche, near Cupra Marittima, known for producing distinctive wines in limited quantities. Alongside Kupra, its best-known bottling is Kurni, and the estate has helped draw attention to the region’s more unusual grape varieties.
