In the glass, this vintage typically shows a deep, concentrated ruby colour with remarkable luminosity at the rim. The nose is expected to be layered and expressive, with blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, violet, and subtle spice, unfolding with aeration into more complex notes of tobacco leaf, cocoa, and fine oak. On the palate, Mouton Rothschild 2022 should be full-bodied and densely textured, with ripe dark fruit, firm yet polished tannins, and a long, precise finish that balances richness with freshness. Production
Produced in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, the wine comes from gravelly terroirs that provide superb drainage and help the vines achieve optimal ripeness and concentration. The estate’s meticulous vineyard management and hand harvesting are aimed at selecting only the best fruit, which is then vinified with great precision to preserve purity, structure, and the signature character of the property.

Food & Serving
This is a wine made for classic, rich dishes such as roast lamb, beef Wellington, venison, or duck with truffle and mushroom accents. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for several hours if opening young, especially to allow the tannins and aromatics to fully open.
