Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine is deeply colored and intensely concentrated, with a dark ruby core and youthful purple reflections. The nose opens with layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, graphite, tobacco, violet, and subtle spice, unfolding with remarkable complexity and freshness. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, and impeccably balanced, with ripe cassis, dark plum, crushed gravel, fine oak spice, and silky yet firm tannins. The finish is long, refined, and persistent, suggesting excellent aging potential; this is a wine that will develop beautifully over decades.

Production
The grapes come from the gravelly soils of Pauillac, where exceptional drainage and the proximity to the Gironde help Cabernet Sauvignon achieve full ripeness and aromatic precision. The 2018 vintage was crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, with careful vineyard selection and meticulous harvesting to preserve purity and structure. Vinification follows the estate’s exacting standards, with parcel-by-parcel fermentation and élevage in French oak to shape the wine’s power and elegance.

Food & Serving
This is a superb match for prime rib, ribeye steak, lamb saddle, duck breast, truffle dishes, or aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–3 hours if drinking young to allow the aromatics and texture to खुल fully; older bottles may only need a gentle decant.
