Monte Rossa P.R. Brut is a non-vintage Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs, presented in a magnum and created to mark the winery’s 35th anniversary. Its name honours founders Paola Rovetta and Paolo Rabotti, whose work helped shape Franciacorta from its early days.

The blend brings together 65% Chardonnay from Monte Rossa’s best crus and 35% reserve wine. The producer describes the aim as balancing the reserve wine’s breadth, structure and complexity with Chardonnay’s elegance and finesse; details of the vineyard practices and winemaking process are not provided.

Paola Rovetta was a Franciacorta pioneer from the 1970s, while her husband Paolo Rabotti promoted the region and helped establish the Franciacorta Consortium, serving as its first president. P.R. Brut’s name recognises their initials and their contribution to the area’s sparkling-wine identity.
