Tasting Notes
Bright and polished in the glass, this Blanc de Blancs shows the finesse and precision expected from top Franciacorta. The nose is elegant and layered, with fresh citrus, white flowers, green apple, and subtle hints of brioche and pastry from the reserve component. On the palate, it balances generous structure with a sleek, creamy texture, offering purity of fruit, lively freshness, and a long, harmonious finish. The Chardonnay from select crus brings lift and definition, while the reserve wine adds breadth and complexity, giving the wine both immediate charm and the potential to evolve gracefully over time.

Production
Produced in Lombardy’s Franciacorta zone, this wine comes from Chardonnay sourced in the best crus and is crafted as a Blanc de Blancs with 65% Chardonnay and 35% reserve wine. The blend reflects Monte Rossa’s philosophy of seeking quality not only in vintage wines, but throughout the whole production, aiming for harmony between structure, complexity, elegance, and finesse.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for shellfish, oysters, sushi, light seafood dishes, creamy risottos, and delicate white meats. Serve well chilled, ideally around 6–8°C, and consider brief decanting only if you want to open up the wine’s more complex reserve-driven aromas—though it is usually best enjoyed straight from the bottle.

Monte Rossa is one of the pioneering names in Franciacorta, with roots going back to the 1970s. The P.R. cuvée honors founders Paola Rovetta and Paolo Rabotti, who played a key role in shaping the region, including Rabotti’s founding and leadership of the Franciacorta Consortium.
