Production
The grapes come from Monte Rossa’s hillside vineyards near Bornato, south of Lake Iseo, where glacial moraine soils and moderating air currents shape the growing conditions. Harvesting is done by hand, followed by gentle pressing and selection of the finest must. Parcels are vinified separately, with fermentation in oak barrels, before the traditional-method second fermentation and more than 54 months of maturation on the lees.
