Tasting Notes

Production
Domaine de Mont d’Hortes is located in the historic Languedoc on a gravelly, sun-drenched plateau near the ancient Domitian Way, an area rich in Roman remains. The estate works 30 hectares and has modernized its cellar and winemaking facilities to focus on careful temperature control and respectful handling of the fruit. Grenache is a key variety for the domaine, and the production style aims to preserve freshness, purity, and varietal expression.

This rosé is an excellent match for summer salads, grilled prawns, Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, charcuterie, and light vegetable dishes. Serve it well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and no decanting is needed—just open and enjoy while it is youthful and vibrant.

Roch Anglade, a 6th or 7th generation winemaker and trained oenologist, brings both tradition and technical precision to the domaine. Under his guidance, the estate has combined heritage with modernization to produce wines that reflect the character of Languedoc while maintaining a strong focus on quality.
