Description

Maximin Grünhaus Riesling Schloss brings together fruit from the estate’s three distinguished vineyards: Abtsberg, Bruderberg and Herrenberg. Formerly labelled Riesling Monopol through the 2019 vintage, it was renamed in 2020 in reference to Schloss Grünhaus, where the estate’s wines mature in slate-vaulted cellars.

Tasting Notes
The supplied tasting note is for the 2020 vintage, rather than 2025. It describes a slate-driven nose with savoury spice and flinty notes, followed by clear aromas of citrus, mirabelle plum and vineyard peach. On the palate, the wine is juicy and precise, with lively but balanced acidity and a cool, mineral character associated with the Ruwer.
