Mastroberardino Falanghina del Sannio 2025 is a crisp, characterful white that showcases one of Campania’s most iconic native grapes with real precision and freshness. Coming from a historic producer known for elevating Southern Italian wines, it offers an authentic expression of Sannio’s hillside vineyards and centuries of local winemaking tradition.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow colour with green reflections, hinting at its youthful energy and vibrancy. The bouquet is bright and expressive, with citrus, tropical fruit, peach, banana and delicate white floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and fruit-driven, with a clean, lively structure and a pleasing persistence through the finish. The aftertaste lingers with tropical fruit nuances, making it a wine that feels both easy to enjoy now and well-suited to drinking young for maximum freshness.

Production
The grapes come from south-east facing slopes around 350 metres above sea level, where the altitude and exposure help preserve aromatics and balance. The soils are medium-textured and gravelly, contributing to the wine’s clarity and finesse. Harvesting is done by hand at the end of September, followed by a classic white-wine vinification in stainless steel tanks for around 20 days at controlled temperatures of 16–18°C.

Food & Serving
This Falanghina is an excellent match for seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, light pasta dishes and vegetable-based Mediterranean cuisine. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to best enjoy its aromatic freshness; decanting is not necessary.
