Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine is deep ruby-garnet, with a youthful brightness that hints at its long future ahead. The nose is initially restrained, opening gradually with wild berry fruit, dried rose petals, and a marked crushed limestone character that adds lift and definition. On the palate, it is tight and focused at first, with a firm, elegant structure and silky tannins that frame the red and dark berry fruit. The mineral drive gives the wine poise and length, and while it is already impressive for its balance, it will reward time in bottle beautifully. Drink now with patience or cellar confidently for many years.

Parussi is sourced from Castiglione Falletto, one of Barolo’s most celebrated communes, where the interplay of old and newer soils helps shape a wine of complexity and finesse. The vineyard’s mid-appellation location contributes to a classic Barolo profile with pronounced minerality and structure. Harvest is carried out with care, and vinification follows a traditional approach aimed at preserving Nebbiolo’s aromatic precision and natural elegance.

Food & Serving
This Barolo pairs wonderfully with rich Piedmontese dishes such as braised beef, truffle risotto, wild mushroom pasta, and tajarin with meat ragù. It is also excellent with roasted game, aged cheeses, and slow-cooked lamb. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if enjoying young to allow the wine to open fully.
