Tasting Notes
The 2022 vintage opens with a pronounced, deeply layered bouquet of crushed dark stones, dissolved minerals, black plum, red apple, and nuanced accents of lavender, sage, and pepper. On the palate, it is full-bodied and more structured than immediately expected, with ripe tannins, generous fruit, and a core of mineral tension that keeps everything focused. The finish is long, rich, and steadily building, revealing additional structure as it unfolds. While approachable in youth, this wine is built for patience and should reward cellaring beautifully through the coming decades, with recommended drinking from 2028 to 2058.
