Production
Barón de Chirel comes from Rioja, where the combination of vineyard selection and a cooler growing year helped preserve freshness and precision. The grapes are picked by hand at optimal ripeness, then fermented in stainless steel before being matured separately by variety in American oak barrels for extended aging. The wines are later blended and held in concrete before bottling, a process designed to preserve harmony, texture, and aromatic complexity.

This is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, game, or rich mushroom dishes, as well as aged Manchego and other mature hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for about 1 hour to allow the wine to open fully and show its aromatic detail.
