Made from Tempranillo and Garnacha sourced from sun-exposed vineyards, including a notable proportion of older vines, it offers the concentration, balance, and elegance that have made Reserva-class Rioja so admired.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby colour with garnet reflections, hinting at its Reserva character. The nose opens with ripe red berries, black cherry, and plum, layered with subtle spice, vanilla, and gentle oak nuances. On the palate, it is polished and supple, with concentrated fruit framed by fresh acidity and well-integrated tannins. The older-vine fruit brings depth and structure, while the blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha adds both savoury complexity and a rounded, generous finish. This is a wine with the balance to age gracefully for several more years, developing more tertiary notes over time.

Production
The grapes come from well-sunned Rioja vineyards, where careful site selection and a significant proportion of older vines help keep yields low and fruit intensity high. Produced only in exceptional or very good vintages, the wine reflects a disciplined selection process aimed at preserving quality and regional character. Vinification follows a classic Rioja Reserva style, with maturation designed to integrate fruit, oak, and structure into a harmonious whole.

Food & Serving
This Reserva pairs beautifully with roast lamb, grilled beef, game, braised short ribs, and mature hard cheeses. It is best served at around 16–18°C. Decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended, especially if you want the wine to fully open and show its layered aromatics.
