Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby core with purple highlights, hinting at its youthful concentration. The nose is expressive and layered, with dark berry fruit, blackcurrant, plum, cedar, graphite, tobacco, and subtle floral and spice notes. The palate is elegant yet structured, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a core of black fruit framed by savoury oak, mineral nuance, and a long, refined finish. The 2020 vintage should develop beautifully with time, and while it can be enjoyed now with proper aeration, it has the concentration and balance to age well over the next 10–15 years or more.

Production
Produced in the Graves appellation of Bordeaux, the blend reflects the estate’s gravelly soils, which lend freshness, finesse, and a distinctive mineral edge to the wine. The vineyards benefit from a temperate Atlantic influence, helping the grapes achieve ripeness while preserving acidity and aromatic precision. Harvesting is typically carried out with careful selection to preserve fruit quality, followed by traditional Bordeaux vinification with parcel-by-parcel treatment to capture the character of each variety. The wine is then aged in oak barrels to build texture, integrate tannins, and add complexity.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game birds, or mushroom-based dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromas and tannins to open up fully.
